This role is ideal for a chemical or mechanical facilities engineer who enjoys complex process systems, field coordination, construction support, and highly collaborative design work. As a Facilities Chemical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and installation of process chemical, gas, water, wastewater, and piping systems for state-of-the-art manufacturing environments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, client stakeholders, equipment owners, contractors, and tool manufacturers to deliver high-quality design packages and construction documentation. This opportunity offers exposure to some of the most technically complex industrial facilities in the industry, with a supportive team environment, strong project leadership, and opportunities to broaden your technical expertise in advanced manufacturing infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Develop design requirements and construction documents for complex manufacturing tool installations, tenant improvements, and facility infrastructure upgrades. Perform design and layout work for wet and dry piping, process mechanical systems, process chemical piping, gases, equipment layouts, and related facility systems. Support engineering calculations, equipment sizing, component selection, specifications, and system retrofit planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, client stakeholders, equipment owners, contractors, and manufacturers to define utility requirements and installation packages. Provide construction-phase support, including field walks, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and coordination with site teams. Evaluate, recommend, and specify engineered systems and products for industrial building construction and process facility upgrades.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range:

$47 to $54 per hour.

Schedule:

Normal business hours, nominally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility based on site support and employee preference.
