Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building systems in high-availability commercial properties. You will support HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance for our clients. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring building automation, responding to alerts, coordinating vendors, and documenting work in a CMMS. You'll collaborate with a performance-driven, client-focused team and gain exposure to complex, technology-enabled facilities and sustainability-focused projects. Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems in critical facilities. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability. Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to optimize performance, comfort, and energy efficiency. Respond to alarms, service requests, and emergencies, diagnosing issues and implementing timely solutions. Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and maintain accurate logs and records. Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and contractors performing maintenance or repairs. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and JLL standards. Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and energy or sustainability initiatives within the facility.
