Mechanical Design Engineer (Revit, HVAC)

Location:

Huntertown, IN Max Pay Range:

$53/hr. to $55/hr. #grpa Job responsibilities Draft comprehensive HVAC layouts and technical specifications for diverse facility types including industrial and commercial sites Execute thermal load simulations utilizing Trace or comparable industry software to determine system demands Determine appropriate mechanical hardware and calculate dimensions for airflow distribution and liquid piping networks Consult with suppliers to integrate specialized equipment into unique project designs Perform on site inspections to document current infrastructure and inform future engineering plans Influence project strategies by refining design methods during the initial and advanced development stages Author and validate engineering computations and detailed technical reports Synchronize mechanical models with other trades using Revit and Navisworks to eliminate spatial conflicts Maintain active communication with fabrication and installation teams to ensure design integrity through completion Minimum of 4 years within the field of mechanical system engineering High level of expertise in Revit for digital modeling and design Demonstrated success managing workloads in high pressure and rapid environment Proven skill in multi disciplinary project integration Background in designing for large scale manufacturing or corporate environments is ideal Previous tenure at an engineering consultancy firm is highly valued Direct experience with educational and large scale hospitality infrastructure is a plus.
