Our client is seeking an Engineering Technician to support Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC, air handling, and facility equipment at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician or entry-level engineering candidate with BAS coursework.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3 PM or 8 AM-4 PM; flexibility and overtime may be required Responsibilities Support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain BAS, HVAC, air handling, and dust collection systems. Perform wiring, terminations, equipment installations, and basic electrical/control work. Complete preventive maintenance and system performance checks on BAS panels, air handlers, chillers, exhaust fans, dampers, valves, and related equipment. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical/control drawings, and technical documents. Support facility engineering projects, system upgrades, continuous improvements, and equipment installations. Assist with contractors, vendors, validation/qualification activities, change controls, SOPs, and technical documentation. Complete work orders, inspections, PMs, and equipment troubleshooting. Must Have BAS knowledge is required; school/coursework experience is acceptable for entry-level candidates Engineering degree with BAS-related coursework will be considered Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience with air handling equipment, controls, and/or BAS preferred. 2+ years in a maintenance or engineering environment; regulated/pharmaceutical experience is a plus. Experience with BAS systems such as Siemens, BACnet, or similar platforms preferred. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, PLCs, VFDs, and facility equipment. Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical/control drawings. Experience with tools such as multimeters, anemometers, air data meters, or flow hoods is a plus. Associate degree in Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related field preferred. HVAC certifications, apprenticeships, or technical training are a plus. INDBH
