Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing general maintenance work to ensure maintenance quality and safety standards are achieved and maintained at the Golf Club at Turner Hill.
Essential Functions:
The Maintenance Engineer responds to and handles requests from Managers Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments in a timely basis Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis Ensures that the equipment is working properly Perform routine maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical system repairs Respond to service requests and maintenance issues from residents in a timely and efficient manner Daily walk through of Buildings on the property to assure there are no issues Perform all other duties as requiredRequirements:
1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred The Maintenance Engineer must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that will include days, evenings, nights, some holidays, and weekends Basic knowledge of painting, drywall, HVAC, electrical and plumbing is preferred General knowledge of machines and basic hand and power tools Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift Must be able to lift, push, and pull items that weigh up to 50 pounds Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions, receive job assignments and communicate progress and/or completion of assignment and basic guest requests Operating equipment needed to perform work operations in a safe manner Climbing ladders and going up and down stairs repeatedly Shifts as determined by the needs of the business Upkeep of common areas, grounds, and building systems to ensure safety and compliance Handle emergency repairs as part of the on-call rotationDriver's License Job Type:
