Diesel Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to work on a year-long contract with Volvo/Prevost buses. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude and experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Remove and replace or repair seats on Volvo/Prevost buses. Use OEM software and diagnostic platforms to troubleshoot complex coach systems. Run diagnostic tests to identify issues and repair engines, electrical systems, air conditioning, steering, and braking systems. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude is required. Experience with hand tools is essential. Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have own tools. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piscataway, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
