Job Description

Fire Sprinkler Designer | A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join its team due to continued expansion and an increasing project workload. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer looking to take on diverse commercial and industrial projects while building toward future leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and layout fire sprinkler systems in AutoCAD/Revit in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. Perform hydraulic calculations and develop accurate system layouts. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate designs with engineers, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Prepare shop drawings, submittals, and material lists. Participate in field visits to verify installations and address design-related issues. Maintain quality, accuracy, and project deadlines throughout the design process.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of fire sprinkler design experience. Commercial and/or industrial project experience. NICET certification preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software. Strong understanding of NFPA 13 and applicable fire protection codes. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
