Maintenance Engineer at Resort Join our dynamic team at a premier resort, where your expertise will ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our luxurious facilities. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who is passionate about maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and functionality for our guests and staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment while advancing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all resort facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems. Ensure the resort's facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects. Relevant certifications or licenses in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC are preferred.
