We're seeking an experienced Mechanical/HVAC Engineer II to join our growing engineering team and contribute to the design of custom temperature, humidity, and environmental testing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, or environmental testing experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to grow into a leadership role. As a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer II, you will: Design and support the development of scientific walk-in environmental chambers. Create robust mechanical, thermal, refrigeration, and humidity control system designs. Perform thermal and moisture load calculations. Develop humidification and dehumidification system designs. Generate project parts, assemblies, and design documentation using CAD software. Prepare accurate project submittals that meet customer specifications. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Production, and Quality Control teams. Troubleshoot fabrication and manufacturing issues and help develop engineering best practices. Support continuous product improvements and innovation initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 3-7 years of engineering experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, thermal systems, or environmental control equipment. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency with CAD software; Autodesk Fusion 360 experience preferred. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
