HVAC Full Job Description Overview:
Boviet Solar is a global Tier 1 solar technology company that specializes in the manufacturing of solar cells and PV modules. The HVAC engineer at Boviet Solar is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining HVAC systems and equipment within our plant. This professional ensures that environmental systems operate effectively, efficiently, and safely in our plant. Relevant equipment and systems may include Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning devices, air compressor, off-gas system, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing HVAC systems, including calculating heating and cooling needs, selecting appropriate equipment, and detailing system specifications. Collaborating with other engineers and managers to integrate and optimize HVAC systems in the plant. Conducting and supervising installations and ensuring conformity with engineering designs and standards. Performing and overseeing regular maintenance and repairs to prevent system failures and extend the lifespan of HVAC units. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to air quality, system inefficiencies, and mechanical malfunctions. Preparing technical documentation and system reports for compliance and maintenance records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) or Associate's with strong hands-on skills of related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus. Proven experience in HVAC system design of manufacturing plants, and installation, commissioning, acceptance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment. Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. High sense of responsibility.
