Durham, RTP Key Responsibilities:
Develop and revise maintenance work instructions, job plans, SOPs, and safety documentation. Create and maintain Energy Control Plans (ECPs) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for preventive and non-routine maintenance activities. Review and improve Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans to enhance safety, reliability, and compliance. Conduct equipment walkdowns and evaluate safety interlocks, LOTO plans, and safety circuitry. Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and safety audits. Ensure compliance with LOTO, confined space entry, work at heights, hot work, lifting & rigging, electrical safety, and permit-to-work requirements. Review and track JHAs, providing safety metrics and reporting as required. Develop pre-start safety checklists for non-routine maintenance activities. Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation. Monitor maintenance activities to identify and mitigate transient risks associated with energized equipment, pressure testing, elevated work, and rotating machinery.
salary:
$65 - $70 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5
