They're looking for an entry-level HVAC Designer interested in launching their career in commercial building design. You will train directly under experienced designers and licensed engineers on office, healthcare, industrial, retail, and municipal projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career professional who wants hands-on development, hybrid flexibility, and a long-term path in mechanical design. Job Responsibilities - Support development of HVAC layouts, equipment schedules, and duct and piping drawings. Create and revise construction drawings in Revit and AutoCAD. Assist engineers with heating and cooling load calculations and equipment selection. Coordinate drawings with architectural plans and other engineering disciplines. Participate in site visits to document existing building conditions and systems. Incorporate review markups and maintain organized project files. Build working knowledge of mechanical codes, design standards, and QA/QC processes. Job Requirements Education or training in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or CAD/BIM, or equivalent HVAC or drafting experience. Genuine interest in HVAC systems and commercial building design. Basic computer and drafting skills, with a willingness to learn Revit and AutoCAD. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical direction. Clear communicator who works well within a collaborative design team. Internship or up to 2 years of HVAC design or drafting experience preferred. Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, duct systems, or HVAC fundamentals is a plus. Interest in pursuing EIT certification and future PE licensure is a plus.
