- Position Overview
- A well-established manufacturing facility in the Omaha area is seeking a skilled
- Industrial Maintenance Technician
- to support equipment reliability and production efficiency. This role is hands-on, highly mechanical, and ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Review and prioritize work orders at the start of each shift + Perform preventative maintenance on industrial ovens, packaging, and production equipment + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues involving bearings, gears, shafts, and drive systems + Install, maintain, and repair electrical components such as motors, gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and control devices + Operate shop equipment including lathes, grinders, drills, and other precision tools + Perform light fabrication and welding as needed (cutting, joining, or modifying metal components) + Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet safety and quality standards •Qualifications•+ •1+ year•of experience setting up, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery in a manufacturing or production environment + •1+ year•of mechanical maintenance experience + •6+ months•of electrical and welding/fabrication experience + Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and maintenance documentation + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently •Why This Opportunity Stands Out•+ Competitive hourly pay with •weekly paychecks•+ Compressed •4-day work week•offering better work-life balance + Stable, long-term opportunity with a •contract-to-hire•path + Work in a clean, food-grade manufacturing environment + Supportive leadership with a strong focus on training, safety, and employee retention + Team-oriented culture with opportunities for growth and advancement •Job Type & Location•This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $24.00
- $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
