Maintenance Engineer The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer, is to work in conjunction with the Facilities team, and is responsible for proactively operating, maintaining, cleaning and repairing building heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, carpentry and other mechanical systems necessary to keep our property operating smoothly and efficiently. Utilization of your skills to perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and corrective repair of all aspects of building and systems is required. This position is a full-time position requiring a flexible 40- hours a week schedule, which on occasion, will include nights and weekends, as building needs dictate. The ideal candidate will meet all position requirements listed as well as take pride in ownership, and enjoy challenges associated with working at a Molasky property. This candidate will report to the Chief Engineer. All duties will be performed by following company policies, practices, and procedures. The candidate must be able to gain the required clearance level to work within our premises.

Chief Engineer Position Summary The Maintenance Engineer works with the Facilities team to proactively operate, maintain, clean, and repair building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, carpentry, and paint/drywall) at a Molasky property.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair:
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and corrective repairs on commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Operations:
Manage equipment via the Building Management System (BAS); handle minor custodial, painting, and drywall tasks as needed.
Administrative:
Respond to daily work orders, attend tenant meetings, escort and wok with vendors, develop and maintain positive tenant relationships.
Communication:
Daily check-ins with the Chief Engineer to report system issues, suggest cost-saving measures, and coordinate repairs.
Initiative:
Be a self-starter and work independently in a timely manner, making sure the task assigned is done correctly the first time with an attention to detail,
Job Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 5 years of commercial facilities maintenance experience
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Ability to use basic hand/power tools; experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Compliance:
Must pass a background check, and company drug tests. Must possess a valid driver's license. EPA certified
Professionalism:
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines. Must maintain a neat, uniformed appearance. Physical Demands & Environment Regular walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces or at heights. Must frequently lift/move up to 60 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, and temperatures ranging from <0°F to >95°F).
