Job Description
Job Summary:
Ensure all areas of Casino property are maintained in good condition by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including plumbing, electrical, lighting, pneumatics and hydraulics in accordance to Company policies and procedures with a strong emphasis on safety.Essential Job Functions:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties on all building mechanical systems and equipment
- Work with senior engineers in coordinating project and project scheduling
- Perform general maintenance and repair
- Perform mechanical services of central plant including chillers, air handlers and HVAC related equipment
- All other duties as directed by management
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as rain, dust, heat and cold
- Must be willing to work any shift when necessary
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke
Requirements:
- Must have valid Nevada Driver's License or ability to obtain same
- Must have ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Must have working knowledge of office equipment such as phones, copiers, computers, fax machines
- Must have minimum of three years experience in casino and kitchen maintenance
- Must have minimum of three years experience in plumbing, electrical, paint and general carpentry
- Must be able to utilize hand tools and electronic equipment, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift maximum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to move around property quickly
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and awkward positions
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist, walk, sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
