Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of complex industrial equipment and systems. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards across our production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative setting while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical infrastructure. Repair or replace faulty components, utilizing skills in welding, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. Conduct electrical system diagnostics involving low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading to resolve complex issues swiftly. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting projects involving schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and system upgrades to enhance operational reliability. Provide field service support for equipment repairs at various locations within the facility or customer sites as needed. Maintain safety standards by adhering to all protocols related to electrical systems, welding procedures ( welding if applicable), and industrial maintenance practices. Support customer service initiatives by ensuring equipment is maintained at optimal performance levels for internal clients or external customers. Landscaping Requirements Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Demonstrated expertise in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and mechanical repairs. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including low voltage/high voltage wiring and electrical blueprint interpretation. Skilled in welding techniques ( welding if applicable), equipment repair, and troubleshooting complex machinery issues. Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and customer service interactions. Ability to read schematics accurately and perform electrical system repairs efficiently using tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
