As a Plumbing BIM Coordinator, you will develop, coordinate, and maintain LOD 400 plumbing fabrication models and construction-ready deliverables for fabrication and field installation. The scope includes domestic cold water, hot water, and recirculation; sanitary waste and vent; storm and overflow drainage; condensate; fuel gas; and other plumbing systems included in the project scope, along with fixtures, equipment, piping, fittings, valves, specialties, insulation, and supports. What Are We Looking For? Develop and maintain accurate LOD 400 plumbing fabrication models using contract documents, drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project standards. Model and coordinate plumbing systems, fixtures, equipment, specialties, and associated components to meet project and fabrication requirements. Coordinate plumbing models with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, controls, civil, and other trade models. Perform clash detection and constructability reviews, develop practical solutions, and resolve coordination issues through project completion. Lead or participate in coordination meetings and communicate design conflicts, field conditions, schedule impacts, and required resolutions. Produce shop drawings, spool drawings, isometrics, schedules, bills of material, fabrication packages, and Trimble layout points as required. Support Project Managers, Superintendents, fabrication, and field teams with RFIs, field questions, approved changes, redlines, and installation coordination. Maintain model quality, fabrication content, file organization, coordination deliverables, and third-party modeling work in accordance with company and project standards. What Do We Want To See? High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of plumbing BIM/VDC, fabrication modeling, coordination, or related plumbing field experience. Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Manage, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and project documentation. Working knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, joining methods, drainage slopes, equipment connections, fabrication, and installation. Experience producing plumbing models, shop drawings, isometrics, spool drawings, bills of material, and fabrication work packages. Technical or vocational training, plumbing apprenticeship, associate degree, or formal Revit/VDC training preferred. Experience with Revit Fabrication Parts, Autodesk Forma, Trimble fabrication/field tools, third-party production teams, and field layout/robotic total station workflows preferred. Great Benefits!
