Job Description

POSITION INFORMATION
Position summary: Position supervises all HVAC Mechanics, Stationary Engineers, and Incinerator Operators. Collaborates with the manager and is responsible for participating in and using independent judgment in the hiring, supervising, training, performance management, and evaluation of staff. Monitors all daily activities of all associates whom they supervise and directs most activities of all.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent with a Building Engineer Certificate or Associate Degree in Environmental Technology from Westside Institute of Technology or equivalent education. Four year degree in business of engineering disciplines also acceptable. Required length and type of experience: A minimum of 6 years experience as an HVAC Mechanic, HVAC Mechanic Supervisor, or Building Automation Technician in an institutional or commercial setting. Required licensure, certification or registry: Current 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License required.
