Matherly Mechanical is looking for a Mechanical & Plumbing Detailer / BIM Coordinator with experience in the commercial plumbing and mechanical trades . We are looking for someone who understands how plumbing and mechanical systems are actually installed in the field , not just someone who knows how to draw. Responsibilities Produce accurate, coordinated, and buildable plumbing and mechanical drawings. Create layouts, spool drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details. Review drawings and specifications for coordination and constructability. Coordinate plumbing and mechanical systems with other trades. Identify conflicts and constructability issues before they reach the field. Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel. Make drawing revisions based on RFIs, field conditions, and project changes. Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection. Qualifications Commercial plumbing and/or mechanical construction experience preferred. Strong understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems, materials, fittings, and installation methods. Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit preferred. Experience with Hilti and/or Trible Layout Tools is a plus. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of construction plans, details, and isometric drawings. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to visualize systems in three dimensions. Plumbing or mechanical field experience is highly valued. Compensation & Benefits $85,000-$90,000 starting salary , paid bi-weekly. Individual health insurance paid by the company. Pay:

$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
