Purpose This role plans, designs and implements maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of production site facilities and equipment.

Key Missions Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures Adhere to the IDEMIA Quality Policy Ensure all work is in compliance with
ISO 9000
2000 standards Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics Perform routine preventative maintenance of all manufacturing and facilities equipment Provide technical expertise to develop, maintain, test, trouble shoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and devices Work with vendors on new equipment installation and utilize vendor resources for training Assist with departmental documentation such as training, preventative maintenance (PM), etc. Ownership and accountability for specific machines Develop and support departmental documentation such as training, preventative maintenance (PM), etc. Install, program or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end of arm tools and conveyors Assist with the development of Automation projects Modify computer-controlled robot movements Assist with training for Maintenance Technicians and Machine Operators Other roles and responsibilities may apply Profile & Other Information Graduate engineer in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or similar Demonstrated troubleshooting skills Experience working with robotics equipment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite PLC programming Knowledge on computer systems and networks Strong analytical and problem solving skills Effective communication skills Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and energetic environment Solid attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team Capable of reading machine schematics and diagrams Knowledge of all applicable manufacturing equipment By choosing to work at IDEMIA, you will join a unique tech company, offering a wide range of growth opportunities.
