Job Description
Job Title:
Maintenance Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to handle day-to-day service calls and breakdowns, ensuring the smooth operation of our automated processes. Responsibilities Respond to service and breakdown calls promptly. Address day-to-day issues that arise within the facility. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including PLCs and electrical controls. Change out electrical components such as breakers and motors. Work with a team to maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulics, compressed air systems, and conveyors. Essential Skills Electrical experience with voltage up to 480 V. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and reading ladder logic, particularly with AB & Mitsubishi systems. Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics. Experience in changing out electrical components. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with basic hand tools. Experience with hydraulics and compressed air systems is advantageous. Robotic experience is a plus, though not required. Must have own tool set; specialty tools provided. Why Work Here? Training includes one day of orientation followed by a week on the day shift before transitioning to assigned shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeway, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
