Job Description
Position Summary The HVAC Facility Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of HVAC and mechanical utility systems supporting manufacturing and office facilities. This role ensures stable environmental conditions, equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and efficient utility operations to support production. Essential Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems supporting manufacturing and office areas. Ensure temperature, humidity, pressure differential, and ventilation systems meet production requirements. Troubleshoot HVAC, chilled water, air handling units (AHUs), exhaust, and ventilation systems. Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Support facility startup, commissioning, and equipment installation projects. Work with contractors during installation, repair, and capital projects. Monitor building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and utility performance. Improve energy efficiency and utility consumption. Support HVAC qualification and validation activities when required. Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local building codes. Participate in emergency response and after-hours support when necessary. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of HVAC or facility engineering experience in manufacturing.
