Position Title:
Maintenance Engineer General Description Responsible for many different functions including performing root cause analysis of issues, troubleshoot problems, maintenance and repair of various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system. Assist in the development of a robust and efficient manufacturing systems. Train and Support the entry level and maintenance technicians. Attention to detail and clear understanding of the machines maintenance Responsibilities Ensure the daily activities of the maintenance organization meet production needs. maintaining PM program on plant machinery and equipment Provide planning and direction for maintenance Support the development and implementation of new product manufacturing processes. Establish, monitor and improve maintenance, troubleshooting to machine problems, including auxiliary equipment. Foster team environment Participate in improvement activities Train and mentor maintenance technician staff. Works with cross functional teams to develop the best standards for quality, process flow, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvements. Perform root cause analysis on maintenance related issues. Responsible for time and attendance of employees. Perform other duties as assigned Must maintain a positive and supportive attitude conducive to SL's work environment Job Requirements Work Experience Ability to interact well with other Departments Strong maintenance knowledge Must possess good interpersonal skills Excellent attendance required Ability to stand, bend and walk for periods of hours Must be available for weekend work when necessary Excellent problem solving and maintenance skills.
