  • Job Description
  • Maintain, install, and repair facility and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC) with no oversight for more complex work assignments, while overseeing junior technicians in their complex work assignments.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

+ Diagnose and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

+ Inspect work performed by others on the Maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly, reprioritizing and redirecting efforts as necessary.

+ Communicate regularly with the Facilities Manager and Operations leaders and team members regarding the status of repair work and any impact on operations.

+ Ensure clear shift handoffs to facilitate smooth transitions of work to be completed by the next shift.

+ Lead and perform project work to support warehouse daily operations as assigned, potentially coordinating the work of others.

+ Coordinate repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors.

+ Train maintenance team members as needed.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience in facility and industrial maintenance. + Knowledge of preventive maintenance, PLC, VFDs, electrical systems, HVAC, and boilers. + Experience with plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, conveyor systems, and HVAC. + Ability to perform installation and repair work.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + EPA certification + Forklift operation skills + Experience with Siemens and CMM + Carpentry skills + Knowledge of motors, wiring, and HVAC systems

  • Work in a climate-controlled environment with a schedule from 3 pm to 11 pm, ensuring a comfortable and efficient work setting.
  • Job Type & Location
  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $22.

00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
