Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. - , you'll contribute to our success in the following ways: + Assessing patients to determine their care needs.
+ Completing initial and ongoing patient assessments.
+ Protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
+ Providing nursing care according to the plan of care and physician orders.
+ Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the care team.
+ Educating patients and families on their care and safety.
+ Taking appropriate action when patient conditions change.
+ Helping ensure quality, safe, and continuous patient care.
- What is Required?
- + Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
+ Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing. + 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
+ Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
+ Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
+ Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
