Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Engineer/Maintenance technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of rooms, systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless functioning of our facilities. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Conduct maintenance painting, carpentry, welding, and other building interior upkeep tasks to uphold facility standards. Repair and maintain electrical equipment using hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and other building infrastructure through scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. Support maintenance painting projects and perform general carpentry work to enhance the facility's appearance and functionality. Collaborate with team members daily/hourly to lead or assist with maintenance operations while providing excellent customer service to internal clients. Requirements Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) across multiple trades including electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and mechanical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical equipment repair. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques for residential or commercial buildings. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable for automation troubleshooting. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including maintenance painting), and general facilities upkeep tasks. Excellent communication skills in English to document work orders clearly and interact professionally with team members or clients. Ability to read technical schematics and understand building interior maintenance requirements. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid certifications or licenses related to electrical work or HVAC systems are preferred but not mandatory. Join us as we keep our facilities running smoothly through your expertise!
