This is a mobile ("rover") position responsible for supporting multiple commercial properties (three buildings) , requiring flexibility, strong organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail to ensure all locations are safe, functional, and professionally maintained. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Lead and Property Management team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct routine property inspections and identify deficiencies, maintenance concerns, and repair needs; submit recommendations and expenditure requests to the Property Manager. Perform both scheduled and unscheduled general maintenance repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure the continuous and safe operation of commercial properties. Support all exterior grounds activities, including: snow and ice removal landscaping and groundskeeping parking lot maintenance exterior lighting checks general exterior upkeep Perform painting, light carpentry, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Maintain a competent working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment used in facilities and grounds repairs. Respond to tenant and management work requests through the Work Order Management System in a timely and professional manner. Respond immediately to emergency maintenance situations and tenant/client concerns. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and urgent building issues. Interact professionally and courteously with tenants, visitors, contractors, vendors, and governmental officials. Ensure all work is performed to industry standards while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Assist with vendor coordination and site access for third-party service providers as needed. This role may include light porter/janitorial responsibilities to support overall property appearance and cleanliness. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems Experience with commercial office buildings preferred Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Hourly rate: $23.00-$25.00 Participation in after-hours emergency on-call rotation required
