House Maintenance Engineer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and ensuring that all facilities are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and fabricating parts as needed. Duties Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and using tools such as an ohmmeter. Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support ongoing operations. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Supervise junior maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and support in their tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Skills Proficient in electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot using an ohmmeter. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. Ability to fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements. Experience supervising team members or junior staff is a plus. Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
