Full Job Description Role:
Facilities Engineer IV Our Vision:

The Environmental Markets Analyst is a critical role that performs data analysis and optimization to generate carbon credits for a group of production facilities. This position utilizes PowerBI and other tools for data monitoring and visualization, develops monthly and quarterly reports per regulatory guidelines for credit generation, and captures operational trends to identify areas for optimization, profit improvement, and streamline credit generation work processes. The role requires developing strong relationships with key auditors and regulatory stakeholders while hosting site visits, and working closely with operations and short and mid-range planning for input into plan development. This Houston-based position is 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis and optimization to generate carbon credits for production facilities Utilize PowerBI and other tools for data monitoring and visualization Develop monthly and quarterly reports per regulatory guidelines for credit generation Capture operational trends to identify areas for optimization and profit improvement Streamline credit generation work processes Develop strong relationships with key auditors and regulatory stakeholders Host site visits with auditors and regulatory stakeholders Work closely with operations and short and mid-range planning for input into plan development Perform data reconciliation, trend analysis, and root cause analysis Investigate operational issues and connect data to physical operations Identify optimization opportunities Find ways to improve processes Work with large datasets and identify bad or incomplete data

Skills and Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Technical curiosity and self-motivation Demonstrated ability to lead projects and participate in cross-functional teams Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to meet monthly deadlines for routine tasks Experience using data analysis to drive profitability Advanced Excel skills Data analysis capabilities Ability to work with large datasets Ability to identify bad or incomplete data Strong problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using PI, PIVision, PowerBI, PowerApps, and other data visualization software Experience in process monitoring and optimization Experience working closely with operations and facilities engineering to identify data quality constraints and opportunities for improvement Technical Process/Process Engineering background Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering background Plant/Manufacturing experience Financial Analyst or Environmental Specialist experience
