ASEI Engineering is currently seeking a Junior Mechanical & Plumbing Designer to join our talented team in Houston, TX. This position will perform HVAC and plumbing design services for a wide variety of projects including but not limited to commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects.

Duties:

• Create Mechanical and/or Plumbing Designs in AutoCAD and/or Revit software
• Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design, while utilizing in-house Professional Engineer for support and quality control
• Effectively manage mechanical/plumbing design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations
• Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company sponsored training and events

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
• Excellent working knowledge of electrical design in the realm of commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
• Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well
• Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications
• Passion to provide our clients a world-class experience on every interaction for every project, every time

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• 2+ years' experience in mechanical/plumbing design and drafting (preferred)
• Experienece with AutoCAD . Revit experience (preferred)
• Experience with MS Office products

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
