Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a full-time Maintenance Engineer (1.0 FTE) to work in the Facilities department. The Maintenance Engineer performs a variety of maintenance duties in and around the buildings and grounds of the medical center and offsite locations tending to electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, med gas, building construction and grounds keeping. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Technical degree in HVAC program or related program, journeyman status (years of experience may be considered in leu of technical degree) 5+ years HVAC installation/facility repair/facility maintenance experience Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Completion of HVAC apprenticeship or trades related program Enrollment or Completion of commercial HVAC journeyman program Licensed HVAC Contractor, Electrician, Plumber, or related profession Experience in a health care environment or environment with infection control standards Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility Ability to work alone and be self-managed Ability to operate light equipment, i.e. skid loader, tool cat, snow plow, brush cutter, etc.

Work Schedule:

1.0 FTE - 80 hours per biweekly pay period (Monday - Friday) Call rotation (every 5th week)
