POSITION SUMMARY

As a versatile Manufacturing Engineer, you will be leading the charge in manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include specifying equipment, designing and building equipment and optimizing production layouts to streamline operations and boost productivity. Collaborating closely with production, you'll ensure smooth integration of equipment and maintenance activities with production schedules, keeping downtime to a minimum. Create prevent schedules, trouble shoot equipment failures, and design internal tools to keep production moving.

Must have AutoCAD experience. Must have Autodesk Inventor experience. Develop drawings showing production layout changes or provide production area layouts for new production lines for new or existing products. Design, Bid or Build in-house manufacturing equipment to process vinyl or wood components for building windows and doors. Coordinate vendors for building modifications, remodeling, roofing, or structural alternatives. Research and recommend new equipment and processes that would improve production and/or quality and reduce manufacturing costs. Oversee project phases to assure timely completion and coordinate other contractors. Observe areas that could benefit from improvements and make appropriate recommendations. Order maintenance and manufacturing supplies. Work with outside vendors for B&G improvements and preventative maintenance. Perform all other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology (Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience:

3 + years related experience in manufacturing preferred Computer Skills Microsoft Office Products. AutoCAD release 14 or higher. Experience in 3D modeling using Inventor.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
