Job Description

Primary Responsibility:
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing. Position relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Skills & Abilities:
Is knowledgeable in procedures and safety measures in area(s) of maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to interact professionally with diverse population Possess attention to detail and demonstrate good organization skills Demonstrate emotional maturity and ability function effectively under stress Demonstrate the ability to maintain effective, positive working relationships
Education, Licenses/Certifications, and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance or a related area
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Must be able to take call on rotation for maintenance and security.
