Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting the deployment, testing, and validation of data acquisition systems used in turbine engine development and certification programs.

These regulations may limit access to controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including some refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Rate Range:
$28/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Install, configure, and support data acquisition systems and instrumentation used for turbine engine testing, validation, and certification activities. Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot sensors including thermocouples, accelerometers, pressure transducers, strain gauges, and other data collection devices. Support engine test operations by collecting, monitoring, and validating test data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results. Fabricate, install, and maintain cables, connectors, and electronic hardware utilizing soldering and cable crimping techniques. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers to support test requirements, resolve technical issues, and improve testing processes. Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data acquisition equipment, testing standards, and operational procedures.Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in electrical/Electronic Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered. 2+ years of experience in data acquisition, instrumentation, electronics testing, aerospace testing, or a related technical environment. Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems, sensor instrumentation (thermocouples, accelerometers, pressure transducers, strain gauges), and test setup/configuration activities. Knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting, cable fabrication, Linux systems, test environment operations, and the collection and validation of engineering test data.
