$38.34/hour Ready to put your advanced automotive diagnostic and repair expertise to work in a hands-on engineering environment? We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support vehicle testing, quality improvement initiatives, labor time studies, and technical service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ASE-certified technician to work with cutting-edge vehicle technology and engineering teams. Job Duties Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet, test, and prototype vehicles. Support vehicle testing, inspections, warranty part installations, and road testing activities. Assist with Labor Time Studies (LTS) and document findings for labor time guides. Review and document repair findings and technical observations. Create and maintain repair orders, service records, and detailed reports. Order parts and shop supplies to support repair and testing activities. Assist engineering teams with vehicle quality improvement initiatives. Support special projects, media events, and technical vehicle preparation. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Requirements ASE Master Automotive Technician Certification required. 5-15 years of experience as a bumper-to-bumper automotive technician or similar role. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills. Experience using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and service tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. Dealer Management System (DMS) experience preferred. Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
