2:30 PM - 1:30 AM (10-hour shifts, 4 days/week + OT on Fridays based on production needs)

Job Summary:

The Engineering Technician supports manufacturing line operations in a cleanroom environment, working closely with engineers and production teams to ensure efficient, compliant, and uninterrupted production. This role emphasizes strong communication, coachability, and basic technical aptitude, with significant hands-on involvement on the production floor. It is a high-priority position with immediate hiring needs and strong potential for full-time conversion based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily manufacturing line operations to ensure smooth production flow
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• Follow work instructions, control plans, routing, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform basic troubleshooting, data collection, and process monitoring
• Assist in process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and support production records
• Work extensively on the production floor (approximately 60%) in a cleanroom environment using PPE
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• 0-5 years of manufacturing or technical experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documentation
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow
• Hands-on familiarity with basic tools such as multimeters and measurement instruments
• High reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship, co-op, or hands-on manufacturing experience
• Exposure to lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies
• Basic knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
• Experience in assembly, production, or technician roles
• Medical device industry experience

Salary:

The hourly rate for this position is competitive and based on experience.
