Full Job Description Description:
Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR system cabling to be installed into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC) to include:
CVN, LHA, LPD, TAO, TATS
class ships Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits Assembling RF, Fiber, network, serial, MIL-spec, and power connector and cable assemblies according to cable run sheets, parts lists, assembly instructions/procedures, and assembly drawings Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards #LI-JC1
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED 0-2 years of work experience Must be able to perform daily assigned tasks with direct supervision Must be able to perform basic computer tasks and use applications to include but not limited to: Outlook (emails), Adobe Reader (documents & drawings), WTE (daily electronic timekeeping), etc.
Read and interpret drawings:
physical copies or digital Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Desired Skills:
Understanding of multiple standards such as: IPC-620, Mil-STD-2003-5
B Clearance Information:
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
Travel Requirements:
50-75% yearly (as needed)
