Adobe Acrobat Full Job Description Role and Responsibilities:
Full time Engineering Technician to Test and repair Navy Combat Systems related equipment for NATO Sea sparrow Surface Missile System (NSSMS) Depot located at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, utilizing documentation such as Technical Repair Standards (TRS). Harvest material related to NSSMS equipment in support of NSSMS Depot operations and or U.S. Navy fleet requirements, utilizing Depot provided technical documentation and procedures. Participate and assist with NSSMS Depot operations to include local NSSMS equipment movement and installation in designated testing areas.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of related experience. Additional years of experience may substitute degree. Engineering Technicians performs non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project, selects and adapts plans, techniques, designs, or layouts, contacts personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate the work, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others. Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance. Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to make sure deadlines are met. Coordinates international initiatives for the development and sustainment of the online database project to align with established FMS processes and requirements. Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians. Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat). Have a valid driver's license with own transportation. Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance. Able to follow company policies and procedures. Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working on NSSMS System Highly Desirable. Previous experience working on various Navy Combat Systems Experienced and knowledgeable on test equipment such as O-Scope, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter and various hand tools needed to install and maintain various electronic systems
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel if/when required.
