Mission Supported:

• Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior FPGA Layout Engineer to support the development of advanced secure computing products, processor boards, and integrated box-level solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• This role is ideal for a seasoned hardware professional who can independently drive complex PCB layout activities with minimal oversight and quickly contribute to critical development programs.
• The successful candidate will work on sophisticated FPGA- and processor-based hardware designs, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver high-performance, mission-critical systems supporting both Boeing and external aerospace and defense customers. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• 5+ years of experience in PCB layout and hardware design engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and laying out complex FPGA-based and processor-based circuit boards.
• Strong background in high-speed digital design.
• Experience supporting designs utilizing: o Intel FPGAs o Xilinx FPGAs o Modern processors and computing architectures
• Expertise with DDR memory technologies and associated layout requirements.
• Working knowledge of: o Signal Integrity (SI) analysis o Power Integrity (PI) considerations o Power distribution network design
• Experience conducting and supporting board-level design reviews.
• Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up and technical oversight.
