Contract:
6 Months (Temp to Perm) |
Pay:
$49-$62/hr Onsite | 9/80 Schedule | 1st

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Flexible)
Experience Level:
Mid-Level (5-7 years) Must have experience: CAD specialty engineering design software PADS Power PCB and PADS Power Logic (PCAD 8.5 optional), develops complex Schematics, PC board layouts and drawings, and details related structural assemblies and devices. About the Role We are seeking an experienced PC Board Designer IV to join an Electrical Engineering Department in Poway, CA. You'll assist engineers in designing and developing complex printed circuit board layouts for a wide variety of advanced aerospace products and assemblies. Responsibilities Develop complex schematics, PC board layouts, and drawings using PADS Power PCB and PADS Power Logic Interact with engineering staff on PC board design concepts and progress Validate conformity to design standards and identify design errors and deficiencies Archive engineering data files per configuration control procedures Coordinate with PCB vendors on manufacturing of PC boards and electronic assemblies Establish design standards and verify completed design elements including dimensions and materials May provide direction to less experienced PC board designers and support staff Requirements Associate's degree or recognized CAD/electronics training certificate + 4 years of progressive PCB design experience; additional experience accepted in lieu of degree Proficiency in PADS Power PCB and PADS Power Logic required;
PCAD 8.5
a plus Strong understanding of PC board design concepts and drawing principles including ANSI Y4.15 and IPC Standards Ability to troubleshoot and test basic electronic assemblies; basic soldering skills required Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases independently DoD Security Clearance eligibility required
Pay:
$49.00 - $62.00 per hour
