Onsite Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer (Altium Designer) to support the design and development of advanced electronic products from concept through production. This PCB Design Engineer (Altium Designer) will create electrical schematics, multi-layer PCB layouts, and manufacturing documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative products for highly technical industries. The ideal PCB Design Engineer (Altium Designer) has extensive experience with Altium Designer, PCB layout, schematic capture, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. This role is well suited for an engineer who enjoys solving complex design challenges and supporting products through the entire development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop electrical schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuit boards Select electronic components and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and component libraries Generate manufacturing documentation including fabrication packages, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), Gerber files, and ODB++ files Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) best practices throughout product development Support prototype builds, engineering validation, production release, and engineering change activities Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams Ensure PCB designs comply with IPC standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing specifications Review PCB layouts for manufacturability, reliability, and performance Support design reviews and implement engineering revisions as needed Maintain accurate engineering documentation throughout the product development process Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of professional PCB design experience using Altium Designer Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and manufacturing support Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes Experience designing multi-layer printed circuit boards Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with high-speed digital PCB design Experience designing analog, mixed-signal, and power electronics Experience with controlled impedance routing Knowledge of IPC standards and PCB design best practices Experience generating Gerber and ODB++ manufacturing files Experience supporting products from concept through production Experience working in defense, medical device, industrial instrumentation, biotechnology, quantum computing, or advanced electronics industries Job presented by M Force Partners M Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
