In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive hardware testing procedures to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our cutting-edge electronic devices. Your proactive approach will help identify hardware issues early in the development cycle, contributing to the delivery of top-tier products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence. Manual Tester 8-10 Years of Exp (Hardware Testing Experience (IOT, embedded device, kiosk, POS, smart device testing) Ideal candidate profile. The best match is a manual tester who is comfortable working with physical devices and onsite environments, not only web or mobile applications. Candidates with prior experience in hospitality systems, access control, smart locks, or electronic hardware validation will stand out. Experience with Assa Abloy and Vision line is highly preferred and should be treated as a strong differentiator during screening. Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed manual test cases for hardware components, including peripherals and integrated systems, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities. Perform hands-on testing of physical hardware devices, including assembly verification, connectivity checks, and performance assessments under various conditions. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand hardware specifications and translate them into effective test plans. Document test results meticulously, logging defects and issues using defect tracking tools such as HP ALM or JIRA for prompt resolution. Conduct root cause analysis on hardware failures or inconsistencies, working with development teams to identify underlying issues. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing technical insights and validation for new hardware releases. Assist in preparing comprehensive test reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Qualifications Proven experience in manual hardware testing within a technology or electronics environment. Strong understanding of hardware components, interfaces, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar platforms. Knowledge of scripting or automation tools is a plus but not required; emphasis on manual testing skills is essential. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Experience working within Agile or Waterfall development methodologies. Ability to work onsite in Orlando, Florida, with flexibility to adapt to project needs. Strong communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating across teams.
