Designed with the latest commercially available CPU modules, we design our own computer motherboards, connector PCB's, and peripherals. These products are rarely sold as "off the shelf" products. Customers typically require customization for their specific applications and requirements. This often requires creative problem solving, coordination with software and firmware engineers, and adaptable hardware designs. The Senior Hardware Engineer has the following main responsibilities: Schematic level hardware design of technical requirements for new products and customer customizations Printed Circuit Board design Electronic component evaluation and selection Ensure MIL-STD product qualification (temperature, EMI, CE, power supply, etc.) Troubleshooting and problem resolution for existing product issues Qualifications 10+ years hardware design experience BSEE or BSCE required Digital and analog circuit design in product development environment Multilayer, high speed Printed Circuit Board design Computer motherboard design experience highly desired Experience with FPGA and ARM microprocessor design EMI testing and troubleshooting Use of analytical and CAD software tools and lab equipment Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Must be a self-motivated team player Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills US Person required ScioTeq LLC is an equal opportunity employer
