- Top level floor-planning and pad placement to support initial IC shape and size as well as package bond-outs.
- Custom layout of radiation-hardened block level IP for our IC products and work closely with the IP designer to meet specifications.
- Physical verification of the IP blocks such as DRC, LVS, ERC, etc.
- Parasitic extraction of block layouts and provide files to designers.
- Layout documentation and reviews that include sign-off checklists.
- Frame creation that includes IC & variants, PCM tiles, and scribble line test patterns.
- Frame tape-out and review & sign-off of mask databases. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, accountability, and experience overseeing project layout efforts.
- Mastery of Cadence software for layout and schematics.
- Experience in running and debugging DRC, LVS, ERC, etc. to generate a violation-clean database.
- Familiarity with analog sensitive techniques such as shielding, centroid, dummies, etc.
- Excitement about learning Rad-Hard-By-Design techniques.
