Job Description

General Overview Wideband Systems, Inc. seeks a dedicated and experienced hardware engineer to take on multiple roles in product development. Tasks include (but not limited to) system level design and project management, board level hardware development, embedded firmware and software development, and hands-on test & debug. Good communication and interpersonal skills are highy desirable, as well as a tenacious mindset to solve difficult and challenging issues. Principle Duties System design & project management Develop C applications for embedded systems Develop FPGA firmware for embedded systems Design & debug analog/digital/RF circuits for custom boards Required Qualifications BSEE or equivalent 10+ years of combined experience in: System design & project management C/C++ programming Hardware design (specifications, component research & selection) Preferred Qualifications (in order of priority): FPGA/SoC, VHDL Embedded Linux Board layout (Cadence OrCAD/Allegro tools)
C/C++/GUI
development in PC domain Experience with telemetry applications Familiarity with
IRIG 106
This position may require exposure to information, which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e., the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Compensation:
Salary Range:
$170K - $185K 100%
PAID COVERAGE

About Wideband:
Our Technology & Products Wideband recorders capture raw signals and instrumentation data in the analog and digital domains for archival, reproduction, and analysis. A range of RF/IF signals are natively recorded and/or demodulated and the extracted digital data recorded. A wide array of standard interfaces and formats in the digital domain is supported via the modular system design that allows interface boards to be exchanged between any model recorder. All data is recorded in
IRIG 106
Chapter 10/11 format onto removal RAIDs that can also be interchanged between recorders. Recorded data is faithfully reproduced with accurate timing during playback for analysis via native signal reconstruction or TMoIP over Ethernet. Pay:
$170,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
