Lighting Hardware engineer (Allen Park, MI) | 08/31/26
Job Description Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Automotive Exterior Lighting Systems - Hardware & Power Electronics
- End to end hardware development for automotive exterior lighting systems including headlamps, signaling lamps, and rear combination lamps.
- System level power architectures and LED driver strategies (linear vs switching) under tight EMI, thermal, and cost constraints,
ASIL QM/A/B
functional safety,
CAN-FD/LIN
integration
- Performing worst case circuit analysis, derating, thermal and reliability analysis (DFMEA, MTBF) to ensure production readiness.
- Driving pre compliance and compliance EMC testing,
- resolving conducted and radiated emission issues through layout, filtering, and architectural changes.
