Experience:
Senior Level Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - We are is seeking a dedicated Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team in Moberly, MO. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundation in hardware design to contribute to the development of our mechatronics systems. About the Role This position is primarily focused on hardware design, comprising approximately 85% of your daily responsibilities. You will lead the design, development, and layout of electronic control and monitoring circuitry, followed by the testing and validation of the boards you have personally created. You will work on-site in Moberly, MO, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities Hardware Design:
Lead electrical schematic capture and PCB design/layout, utilizing Altium as our primary design tool.
Testing & Validation:
Perform hands-on testing, verification, and troubleshooting of your designs to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
Apply a strong understanding of EMC/EMI and functional safety principles throughout the design process to ensure reliability and industry compliance.
Product Development:
Support the development of mechatronics products and contribute to cross-functional team efforts to migrate designs into successful production.
Collaboration:
Work directly with customers as needed to ensure designs meet specified performance needs (travel requirements for this are very minimal).
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience in electronic hardware design.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in PCB schematic capture and PCB layout is essential.
Knowledge Base:
A solid understanding of EMC/EMI and functional safety is required. Desired (but not required): Experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is beneficial, as is experience with embedded C/C++ programming.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent lawful resident of the U.S.
