- $170 Job Description Our client, a leading defense and aerospace organization, is seeking a Test Engineer to support factory floor testing activities on an active development program.
- Support factory floor testing of upgraded hardware and equipment involving discrete signal verification
- Set up, configure, and execute tests using National Instruments (NI) hardware and software platforms
- Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment to validate hardware functionality and performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues, resolving problems independently whenever possible before escalating
- Partner closely with factory support and engineering teams to maintain operational test stands
- Assist with qualification and verification efforts for upgraded or modified equipment
- Document test results, observations, and troubleshooting activities Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (Collateral Secret) required
- Hands-on experience with National Instruments (NI) hardware and software
- Experience supporting test stands in a manufacturing, factory, laboratory, or production environment
- Strong proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic measurement equipment
- Experience with discrete signal testing and hardware validation
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues independently
- Comfortable working directly with hardware systems in a hands-on testing environment Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting factory floor or production testing within a defense or aerospace environment
- Experience qualifying, validating, or maintaining upgraded test equipment
- Advanced experience with NI TestStand and/or LabVIEW
