Job Description
If you are a . + Utilize knowledge of hardware components, cabinet layout variations, marshalling configurations, cabinet cabling, and I/O module options to develop best‑cost solutions aligned with customer requirements. + Support hardware ordering objectives to meet project milestones and on‑time delivery commitments. + Perform hardware engineering activities for assigned projects, including system layouts, cabinet configurations, and design development using AutoCAD or comparable design tools. + Develop, maintain, and update accurate bills of material within the ordering system, including preparing and processing change notices as needed. + Maintain the AEO controlled parts list to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established standards. + Partner with marketing and proposals teams to support improved hardware cost estimates. + Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to resolve issues and support smooth project execution. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to standardize designs, enhance processes, and improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- + Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related STEM discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- + Demonstrated experience designing or implementing electrical and/or control systems in industrial, power generation, or automation environments. + Proficiency with AutoCAD or comparable CAD tools used for electrical, cabinet, or wiring design. + Experience supporting cost‑reduction or manufacturing efficiency initiatives through design optimization or parts standardization.
