Debugging Full Job Description Principal FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer Work Authorization:
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (Green Card) status required.

Remote or Hybrid (for qualified candidates) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Principal FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and optimization of FPGA-based image acquisition and processing systems. This role focuses on developing high-performance FPGA solutions, embedded Linux integration, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver advanced hardware and software solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop FPGA logic for image acquisition, processing, and high-speed data movement. Optimize FPGA performance, timing closure, and resource utilization. Develop and support embedded Linux systems, including kernel drivers and hardware bring-up. Perform system integration, validation, troubleshooting, and debugging. Document architecture, design, testing, and deployment activities. Partner with software and hardware engineering teams throughout development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of FPGA development experience using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog. Experience with Xilinx FPGA development tools. Strong knowledge of timing closure, resource optimization, and complex FPGA design. Experience with embedded Linux and kernel driver development. Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging. Experience with image sensors, video pipelines, or other high-bandwidth data systems. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications PCB schematic review experience. DSP or image/signal processing experience. Manufacturing test or production support experience. Technical leadership or system architecture experience.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$140,000-$220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Hybrid or remote work available for qualified candidates.
